Hi, I’m Leigh, a certified industrial fitter with two decades of experience and the founder of Brick Guard. As a parent of two energetic boys, Roy and Jack, I deeply understand the importance of allowing children to play freely while ensuring a safe environment.

The idea for Brick Guard originated when I saw my 6-year-old nephew chase a soccer ball toward a brick corner at our newly purchased house. Later that night, while searching online for a safety solution, I realised that what I envisioned didn't exist.

Initially, we created our guards for personal use and then began crafting them for friends and family. Although we never intended to start a business, we recognised the numerous hazards in high-traffic areas where children play, motivating us to develop a product that enhances safety.

Ultimately, our goal is to provide parents and caregivers with peace of mind and to reduce preventable injuries to children.
